Once upon a time, there lived a little girl named Jessica who loved to write. Jessica dreamed that some day she would become an author and people all over the world would read what she had written.

One day, a terrible wizard cursed Jessica with self-doubt and fear. Jessica forgot all about her dream to write and grew up feeling something was missing, though she couldn’t remember what! Every time she saw a rainbow, she wished to remember what her dream was…

Many, many years later, when Jessica was thirty and had a little girl of her own, she wished upon a rainbow when all of a sudden, a friendly fairy appeared! The fairy asked Jessica what she wanted most in life. Jessica replied,

“I want my little girl, Seren, and children everywhere, to realise they are capable of anything they want! I want them to understand the importance of a healthy mind and to not be afraid to talk about emotions. I want them to feel inspired, courageous and proud.”

The fairy waved her wand! Suddenly, sparks of glitter exploded from the rainbow and a happy unicorn danced at one end! Just like that, Jessica remembered her childhood dream!

Inspired, courageous and proud, Jessica launched Child Author Project. And the rest is history…
