What is friendship and why is it important?

Friendship is listening to someone who is your friend and playing together. When friends are sad, it’s nice to try and cheer them up and let them pick what game they would like to play. We also have cake and give them cards and presents on their birthdays. Sometimes, me and my brother argue, but Mummy and Daddy tell us that brothers are meant to be kind to each other and not argue so much, as we are also friends who will be there for each other always. It is important to have friends because then you will always have someone to do fun things with, like going to cinema, or holidays when you’re older.

Friendship is having friends and it is lovely! It’s good to know you have someone to play games with, talk to, sit with and cheer you up. You can also watch TV and cartoons together. It’s also good because you always have someone to do nice things with and they can help you. It is important to have friends so you are never sad or lonely.
